Apposite Releases Linktropy Mini WAN Emulator
Portable, Easy-to-Use WAN Emulator Now Available for $1975
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 22, 2008) ─ Apposite™ Technologies today announced the release of the Linktropy™ Mini, a portable, low cost version of the Linktropy WAN emulator. The Linktropy Mini emulates wide area network links of up to 100 Mbps at a price of only $1975.
The Linktropy Mini emulates link bandwidth, delay, jitter, packet loss, and other basic network impairments, and was especially designed to meet the needs of sales professionals, sales engineers, and product resellers to demonstrate the performance of their own networking applications at customer sites and trade shows.
An intuitive, browser-based interface makes installation and configuration of the Mini quick and easy, and allows users to grasp the test conditions at a glance. A traffic monitor displays throughput graphs and statistics, helping to visualize application performance. The compact, set-top box form factor and light weight make the Linktropy Mini highly portable, and with no moving parts, the Mini offers silent operation and high reliability, even with frequent shipping between sites.
The Linktropy Mini is already in use by Citrix® Systems Inc. and other select Apposite partners.
