Easy to Use: The Linktropy 7500 WAN Emulator is a snap to install and configure. Just plug in the Ethernet cables, specify your link conditions, and begin the emulation. No software to install, no training needed. The Ajax-based GUI combines the responsiveness of an application with the convenience of a standard Web browser interface.
Bandwidths up to 1 Gbps: Emulate WAN bandwidths up to 1 Gbps in each direction at full line rate.
Delay up to 10 sec: Emulate latency from 0.1 millisecond up to 10 seconds in each direction in a constant, normal, or uniform distribution.
Error Emulation: Specify loss as a packet loss rate, bit error rate, or both.
Congestion: Determine the effect of congestion on bandwidth and jitter-sensitive applications by specifying the background link utilization and its burstiness.
Advanced Emulation Parameters: Verify that applications and networking equipment properly handle anomalous packet reordering and duplication conditions without inducing stability or performance problems. Adjust the framing overhead and maximum queue depth to match real link behavior.
Copper and Fiber Gigabit Ethernet: Connect using either copper or modular fiber/copper Gigabit Ethernet interfaces on the Linktropy 7500 for convenient installation on any local network.
Unique Linktropy Scheduler: Emulate dynamically changing WAN conditions with the highly-flexible Linktropy Scheduler. The Linktropy Scheduler allows any combination of emulation parameters to vary over time, making link outages, variable bandwidth links, satellite rain fade, wireless interference, and other dynamic conditions easy to emulate.
