Neotys’ market-leading, load testing device, Neoload, now integrates with Apposite’s industry-leading virtual network emulator, NetropyVE
LOS ANGELES (September 5, 2018) ─ Apposite® Technologies announced today that its virtual network emulation software NetropyVE integrates with Neotys’ load testing platform, NeoLoad, to deliver realistic, large-scale testing of IoT platform performance.
The direct connection between Neotys’ NeoLoad and Apposite’s NetropyVE software allows IoT projects to mimic any network topology and scenario (good, bad, or intermittent) in a controlled and repeatable manner. By creating unique customer workloads and networks at scale, NeoLoad and NetropyVE can be used together to guarantee IoT customer pilot success.

As with traditional web and mobile applications, IoT requires rigorous testing to guarantee performance and end-user customer satisfaction. However, IoT presents new challenges. Several factors can impact the stability of IoT platforms including the number of users, sensor connectivity to the platform, and the reliability of an end user’s internet connection.

This provides visibility into what happens if there is a connectivity issue during a strategic action, such as a user interacting with the mobile application or sensors sending sensitive data to the IoT platform.
